NUMBER THREE...WHAT WILL IT BE?
Poll Results:
Another Girl: 13 votes (43%)
A Man Child: 14 votes (46%)
Alien Parasite: 2 votes (6%)
Just Bad Gas: 1 vote (3%)
The results are in! The public has spoken! and by an extremely narrow margin, BOY WINS!!!
...At least I wish that's how it worked. However, biology is not governed by popular vote, and we are having another girl.
Another GIRL!
A few weeks back, Jaicee had this dream that I was a medieval king [man grunts], and that she was one of my harem. She knew in her dream that she was supposed to give me a son for an heir, but that thus far she had only been able to produce daughters. In her dream, the third child came out a daughter, and so, in my wrath, I had her beheaded.
Well, Jaicee, you're lucky I am, in reality, a kind and gracious king, noble and charitable, and merciful despite your unwillingness to bring forth a man child. I will not only NOT have you beheaded, but I will allow you to continue to live in the castle with me. After all, someone needs to take care of all of these girls!
And now, his majesty is retiring to his bed chamber.

Garfield's Thanksgiving Special
Posted by Jaicee
This is probably one of the best Thanksgiving specials there is! (Except the cheesy song near the end...just ignore it) But other than that, it's pretty awesome. Please enjoy some classic Garfield Thanksgiving spirit!

PINK or BLUE? Cast your vote!!!
We have a week and a half until the ultrasound... you know, THE ultrasound!
Yes, we're "finder-outers."
We're too impatient and excited to wait until the little (insert gender here) arrives. We want to be able to plan and buy appropriately colored clothes and baby things! Um... wait, scratch that. We want to be able to have GRANDMAS buy appropriate colored clothes and baby things.
There is also an emotional/psychological element that begins to form as a relationship with the yet unborn baby when you know its gender. You start to call it "him" or "her"--instead of "it"--and you start to feel a more personal attachment to the little person in there, I suppose.
No offense to the "waiters" (Emily and Steve), we have nothing against that. I know that the case for letting it be a surprise is equally valid. And truthfully, we admire you for your patience and perseverance, which we clearly lack.
So, now, a week and a half before the ultrasound, we want to know if YOU have any premonitions, revelations, gut feelings, or scientific theory which causes you to lean one direction or the other. VOTE HERE! and STAY TUNED! We'll reveal the secret on the 24th...
P.S. What do WE think?
Jaicee: Due to a pregnancy far more difficult than the first two... Boy.
Jordan: Because I really REALLY want a son... Boy.

Post-Halloween Post

'Tis the season to be posting Halloween pictures! Here are ours:

F.Y.I., No we didn't make Naivie the fairy princess and Norah the Witch due to personality reasons. If that were the case, they would both be the witch. (Juss kiddin' girls.)

I think that Jaicee did a fantastic job putting this costume together with nothing but hand-me down clothes, fabric on hand, and a few items from the dollar store in Castle Rock.

As for the witch, she is unfortunately still too little to have the patience for face paint or even a witch hat. She didn't even want to hold on to her little cardboard broom for very long...

And of course, we can't forget the pumpkin carving...

Hope everybody got sick from candy! Now...
ON TO THANKSGIVING!!!
