Thanksgiving this year was in Moab! It was pretty much a nuthouse. All 9 grandchildren-- with the oldest being Naivie who is not yet 5-- were all over the place! They covered the floor, filled the bathtub, the kitchen, the sandbox, they were on the shelves, in the dishwasher... You could hardly find a place to sit! But it was fun!
This is a video of a few of them, just being silly. Kenny and Jill came to see us while we were down there and their super sweet kids, Aiden and Capri, made quick friends.
While I was sad to see that we didn't actually get a picture of any food... we did get lots of pictures of us playing around at Tusher Tunnel.
It was an awesome place to go and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Moab. Jordan was ecstatic that he got the chance to break in our new Explorer on the 4wd trail. It was really fun to take it off-road! The girls were in the back seat screaming and giggling as we slid around the turns on the sand dunes. Good times!
It's a tunnel that goes clear through the rocks with a large, gaping entrance. It's hard to tell how long it was, but it was long enough to get really dark inside.
After walking through the dark for a while, you come to the other end of the tunnel and are met with a beautiful vista.
Even little Clayton came along!
Everyone, especially the young ones, had lots of fun climbing around on the rocks and sand.
This is where we found him. We don't know what he's called, but apparently he lives in the rocks.
Here's Brooklyn pulling me up the hill. I love Kaydance in this one... holding on to the rocks for dear life! The sand was so deep and loose, it was really hard for the toddlers to climb up.
It's hard to beat Nature's playground!
